HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc., owner of the Canadian Poker Tour, has recently signed a letter of intent to acquire all shares of the “World Poker Showdown” as a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal constitutes a major step in the Company’s expansion plans, which also includes the launch of a new online poker television network and the expansion of its poker tourism and destination event business unit. Susan Finkelstein, a die-hard Phillies fan, was arrested this week after posting an ad on Craigslist offering sex for World Series tickets . The 43 year-old wife and mother posted an ad on the popular classifieds website stating that she was a “gorgeous tall buxom blonde in desperate need of two World Series tickets”. After the ad was discovered by police officers scouring the website for pornography, drug deals or child molesters, they then decided to initiate contact with the woman

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman has spent a great deal of his time with NBA executives to try and get a team to Vegas , but this will not happen before a $145 million, 20,000-seat sports arena is built in downtown Las Vegas. Mayor Goodman discussed the possible construction of the sports/entertainment arena in his weekly press conference, and also stated that the Las Vegas City Council will begin to study a contract with The Cordish Companies to begin the planning phase.
